From Monday 9th June all IS Multi-function devices (MFDs) in centrally managed PC labs (see http://www.hw.ac.uk/is/docs/PC_LAB_LOCATOR_OCT_2013.pdf) and the Cameron Smail library will have Print Release enabled

This will allow staff and students to collect printouts from any MFD in these areas – using your HWU ID card or by logging into the device using your HWU UserID and password (as used for Vision or email)

The advantages of Print Release include

• improved security – your work will not be printed until you go to an MFD and release it
•  flexibility – you can release your print at any MFD on the network
•  less waste and less chance of printouts getting lost as you are in control of where and when you collect your printout

Posters will be displayed at each device to assist users, and a more detailed user guide will be made available on our website (www.hw.ac.uk/is).
