Online booking for Study Rooms in Edinburgh Campus Library

It is now possible to book a study room online

Study rooms can be booked online up to 3 days in advance for 3 hours per day

  • 21 Individual Study Rooms (Floor 2 & 3)
  • 2 Group Study Rooms (Floor 2)
  • 5 Group Study Tables (Floor 1)

Rooms are available
Monday – Friday 9.30am – 9.30pm,
Saturday – Sunday 10.30am – 7.30pm

To book a study room:

1.  Go to the Information Services Room Booking webpage or scan the QR code

2.  Select the times you require (green = available).
3.  Enter your name, Heriot-Watt email address and ID number.
4.  Click Submit My Booking.

You will receive an email to confirm the booking.

5.  You must confirm within 15 minutes by return of email or the booking will be cancelled.

Keys will be issued at the Service Desk at the start time – bring along your ID card and a note of the room number you have booked.

Please note: –

  • If you do not show up within 15 minutes of the start time of your booking, the booking may be cancelled and reallocated to another student.
  • If you are unable to attend, you can cancel your booking anytime via the confirmation email.
  • Room keys must be returned promptly by the end of the booking time.

  1. Absolutely, yes, the same neurons that feel a real phone ring are active. The decision maker in this case is not some slow deliberative conscious experience – it is not you thinking to yourself “is that my phone ringing?

  2. A second advantage of Contact Form 7 is that the backend is fully accessible, so a visually impaired content manager can build her own forms.
