We currently have a trial of Proquest Central (a multidisciplinary, full-text database) until 20 May 2017 which provides access to thousands of additional journal articles.

You can access Proquest Central direct from the A-Z list of databases or via Discovery.  When you search Discovery you will also be searching Proquest Central and will see links to full-text content from Discovery records.

Please note: there is a problem with the survey form available from Discovery at the moment, we are working to resolve this.

Access to the Times Digital Archive Online is available from the Library via a consortial deal.  You can access from the A-Z list of databases or a direct link is here.

First published in 1785, The Times of London is the oldest daily newspaper in continuous publication and widely considered to be the world’s ‘newspaper of record’. The Times Digital Archive is an online full-text facsimile of more than 200 years of The Times, detailing every complete page of every issue from 1785 onwards.

We have an excellent new resource fresh for the new academic year –  Oxford’s enhanced and updated, top-of-the-range online bilingual dictionaries in Arabic, Chinese, French, German and Spanish.  Access is available from the A-Z list of databases or a direct link is here.
