The printers / MFDs have been moved from the top floor (Floor 3) in order to prepare that area for refurbishment.

The new locations are:

Ground Floor – Black & white printer – in the new study area immediately as you go in the door on the left.

Floor 1 – Black & white printer and colour printer – in the new print area adjacent to the Service Desk

Floor 2 – Colour printer – in the silent PC lab

If you need any help please ask at the Service Desk

Remember to exit and log out when you have finished printing.

There are also MFDs in Learning Commons 1 and Learning Commons 2

Library opening hours – Easter weekend #edincampuslib

The Library at our Edinburgh Campus will be open over the Easter weekend – Friday 30th March to Monday 2nd April inclusive.  The library will be staffed as usual so we will be around to answer enquiries.  The study spaces will be available and PCs, printers and self-service book issue and return.

The entrance to the Library is still via the temporary entrance to the left of the main entrance and along the ground floor corridor and up the main staircase.  The lift has been out of order and we are working with Estates to get it fixed as soon as possible.  Please ask at the Service Desk if you have any problems.

Maintenance work to the water supply will take place on Good Friday 30th March between 6:00am – 12:00 noon in the Library building.  There should be enough water stored to still be able to use the toilets.  The water fountain will not be available.
Other toilet facilities will be available in the main University building and the Learning Commons between 10:00am – 2:00pm.

Making the Most of the Space – Love your Library, Keep it Tidy #edincampuslib

The Edinburgh Campus Library is a great space to study, individually and as a group.
It is very popular so we rely on everyone to help keep it tidy.
We understand that it is convenient to have food and drink in the Library for when you’re studying for long periods, so sandwiches and snacks are ok but not hot food.

Making the Most of the Space #edincampuslib #studyspace

Revision and exam time means that our Edinburgh Campus Library is very busy and study spaces are in high demand.  In order to Make the Most of the Space, it is important to keep noise levels at an acceptable level.
Floor 1 (entrance floor) and Floor 3 (top floor) are study areas where quiet discussion is acceptable.
Floor 2 is a silent working area.
Please use the Library responsibly and think of other students.
